Christmas inspired Makeup ♡

Hello loves! Today I am back with another Christmas inspired makeup look and I am super excited because this video was a collab with my lovely friend Kaily Zen 🙂
If you’d like to see how I got this look then you can watch the YouTube video or keep on reading for step-by-step details. Also, the link to Kaily’s makeup will be listed down below. xo

Okay so this time I actually did my foundation routine on camera but I don’t think it’s really worth spending time writing about that. I have a video on what I usually do and I will list that below as well, so now let’s jump straight into the eye makeup :).
I started by applying a little bit of my Rimmel London wake me up concealer on my lid so that my eyeshadows will have something to stick to and to cover any discoloration and stuff like that.
Then I took a fluffy brush and a soft green eyeshadow and I applied that as a transition color. If you think that green is too colorful for a transition color then feel free to use any other eyeshadow. But as you will see these upcoming weeks I was a little bit obsessed with green eyeshadows for Christmas looks 🙂
Then I took an even fluffier brush and another green eyeshadow – more on the green side this time (the other one had some blueish undertones) and slightly darker and I applied that in my crease. Next I went in with an even darker green and again, applied that in my crease and outter V area. Of couse, I made sure to blend these eyeshadows together as well as I could so that there wouldn’t be any harsh lines and so that the difference between random shades of green would be smooth, rather than obvious. Also, smudge whatever is left on your brush on the lower lash line (I hope I remember this step correctly, LOL)

I also applied some yellow/golden eyeshadow on the lid because the Christmas look would not be complete without that 🙂 Also pop that in the inner corner and on the inner 3rd of the lower lash line 🙂
The next steps are pretty basic: lined my tight and waterline with a black liner, lined my eyes and created a wing with a gel liner (Yes, I keep repeating line, lol) and then I applied mascara on my top and bottom lashes.
This is totally optional, but I also threw on a pair of falsies, because I love me some long and dramatic lashes. I know that the ones I used are too long and whatever but frankly I still love how the makeup came out.
On my lips I just applied a peachy nude lipstick and a shimmery pink lip gloss on top – nothig too bright or crazy, I already had a lot going on the eyes 🙂
And I believe that’s all for this makeup! I’ve had a bunch of glasses of wine before writing this post so please excuse me if I forgot something, lol.
