Gray Makeup with a Pop of Blue ♡

Hello loves! I’m finally back with a makeup tutorial 😀 I went for a gray makeup look with a pop of blue this time 🙂 I love adding blue eyeshadow on my lower lash line since it makes my brown eyes stand out more, and it’s been quite a while since I last did that, lol 🙂 Enjoy!
If you’re interested in seeing what I did in order to achieve this look, feel free to watch the YouTube video below or keep on reading this post 🙂 Speaking about the YT video, sorry for the camera going out of focus randomly, still need to learn how to work with my new baby, lol!

Okay so this makeup look isn’t really difficult, therefore I am not going to crop pictures and show you a step by step tutorial… I’ll just write about it. Besides it was the first time I was filming with the new camera so I kind of forgot that I should take some pictures of what I’m doing, haha.

Back on topic… After I applied a little bit of concealer on my lids to act as a base, I took a shimmery white/light grayish eyeshadow and I applied that all over my eye. I used my ring finger to do that, since I was too lazy to wash my brushes haha.
Then I took a gray eyeshadow and I applied it in the center of the lid. I also blended that into the crease and into the light eyeshadow that I had on, making sure the transition isn’t too harsh.
Next I took an angled brush with a little bit of black eyeshadow and I applied that right on the outter part of my eye. I was going to go for a V-shape, but instead I kept it a simple line starting from where my eye ends, angled towards my brow. I hope I am making sense right now, I don’t really know what I’m saying..

I lined my tightline with a black eyeliner and then I also lined my eyes, creating a wing as usual.
Now for my bottom lash line.. I took a very vibrant (I guess?) blue eyeshadow from my Makeup Revolution Matte Brights palette and I pretty much applied that from the outter corner to the inner one. I didn’t really smudge it out or do anything special, I was fine with how it came out and I wanted the color to pop, so no point in trying to blend it out lol.
In my waterline I wanted to use a turqois-y blue eyeliner from Flormar. It wasn’t as pigmented as I hoped though, but it’s okay, my eyes stood out pretty well.
Lastly, mascara. On the top lashes I applied two coats of black mascara, and on the bottom lashes I used a bright turqoise/light blue mascara from Rimmel. I thought it would be cool to change things up and play with a little bit of color, lol :).
And I think that’s all for this makeup! Lemme know what you think 🙂
