GRWM ♡ My 22nd Birthday Makeup!

Hey there beautiful!
Today I am going to (finally) show you my 22nd birthday makeup look 🙂 I felt like filming that morning so I did a quick GRWM/makeup tutorial and I really like how it all came out! Looking forwards to hearing your thoughts on it! xoxo

Okay so as I’ve been doing lately I’m going to quickly write about each step I took rather than writing an entire novel about why I did what I did 🙂

Step 1: For my base I used the Porefessional (sample size from the Benefit Party Like a Rockstar gift set) as in my recent holiday I kind of neglected my night time routine a little… had to blur them pores out, you know how it is.
Step 2: For a flawless face I have been loving the combo of my L’oreal Infallible 24HR Matte Foundation and Primark/P.S. Love… Undereye Concealer – they make me look more alive and awake, yay!
Step 3: I’ve really been enjoying ‘baking’ the under eye area so I used a sponge to pack on some Collection loose powder under my eyes and then set the rest of my face with a kabuki brush.
Step 4: Eyebrows… can’t go without filling them in and giving them a sort of shape!

Step 6: Dust off that excess powder from my under eye area using the anti-shine powder in the Makeup Revolution Protection Palette.
Step 7: Contour them cheeks! And nose. Then highlight the cheekbones – I didn’t want my birthday makeup to look dull!
Step 8: I used the shade ‘White Chocolate’ from Too Faced’s Chocolate Bar palette (lovely, lovely birthday gift from my best friend) as a base all over my eyes to ensure the other eyeshadows would blend easily.
Step 9: I love the ‘Salted Caramel’ shade from the same palette, and I used that as a transition color. This is optional of course, but I used an old voucher card to get a really sharp line/edge. I also ran this eyeshadow under my lower lashes.
Step 10: I added ‘Milk Chocolate’ and then ‘Semi-Sweet’ lower in the crease to create more depth.
Step 11: I applied ‘Cherry Cordial’ all over the lid, but you can skip this step as this isn’t really going to show through the next shade that much.grwm-22nd-birthday-makeup
Step 12: I overlaid ‘Marzipan’ on top of that burgundy shade on my lid. This is such a pretty eyeshadow! I also used it as an inner corner highlight and a little bit on the inner corner of the bottom lash line.
Step 13: Liner 🙂 Since I had a pretty sharp edge it was pretty easy to create a wing this time, yay!
Step 14: Mascara and (optionally) falsies!
Step 15: I have been loving ‘Invasion’ by Gerard Cosmetics this month so I chose that as my lip color.

And that’s all for my birthday makeup look! I love how it came out, I am really loving warm toned looks at the moment and I think this went really well with my dress and the rest of the outfit.
I’d love to hear what you think about it!
