Prom 2015 ♡ Purple and Silver Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hi there beauties! 🙂 Today I have a romantic yet glam purple & silver makeup look for you 🙂 Perfect for prom or any other events, and really easy to do 😀 Enjoy xx

If you’d like to see how I achieved this look then you can watch the YouTube video or keep on reading for step by step details 🙂

Okay so as usual I’m only going to talk about the eye makeup… first of all, apply a base/primer on your lids if you want your makeup to stay in place all night 🙂

I mixed a bright pink eyeshadow with a beige one and I applied that as a transition color in my crease. If you feel like it’s too pink for your taste, go ahead and add more beige eyeshadow on top to make it more wearable.
Then using a small eyeshadow brush I mixed a dark sparkly pink eyeshadow with a matte purple one and I applied that in the inner and outer corners (top and bottom). I wasn’t really happy with that dark pink as it made my eyes look rather bruised, so I took another purple eyeshadow from my Colour Chaos palette and applied it right on top. I know it may look a little bit scary in the beginning, but in the end I think it turned out kind of nice 🙂
I went back to the first brush I used to apply that pink&beige into my crease and I blended everything a little bit.
I needed a little bit more smokeyness so I took another darker purple eyeshadow from the same palette and applied that on the very inner/outer corners. You can also use a black eyeshadow instead, but I feel like this gave me enough darkness without making my eyes look tired or anything. Blend everything together once again.

Afterwards I took a silver eyeshadow from my Makeup Revolution palette (I love this silver, it’s so prettyyyy, lol) and I applied that in the center of my lid, top and bottom, then I blended it with the purple so everything would look put together.
Next I lined my eyes… as usual black liner in my tight&waterline and a liquid eyeliner on the top. I always go for a wing, but if that’s not your thing then totally skip that step :). As far as the lashes go, I applied one coat of mascara on top and two coats on the bottom. The reason why I did that is because I also applied false lashes, and I wanted the ones on the bottom to look quite long and dramatic. 🙂 However I feel like the falsies I applied weren’t dramatic enough.. I should have probably gone for something fuller and longer to really pull off this look (should’ve probably used ‘Sultry’ from P.S. Love.. instead of ‘Intense’, but I wanted to test these out). If false lashes aren’t your thing though, just go ahead and apply multiple coats of mascara and you’re good to go :).
For the lips I wanted to keep them rather subtle as I had a lot going on on my eyes already.. so I went for a peachy pinky nude lipstick and a similar color lip gloss on top.
And that’s it 🙂

I’d love to hear what you think about this look :D… so let me know in the comments below!
