Today I have a review on the Primark/PS Love Concealer. I have recently mentioned in a P.S. Love… haul and review post that I picked up this concealer in a dark shade because I wanted to use it for cream contouring, but I really liked the formula so I decided to also buy the shade Ivory and see how it’d work on my -terribly dark- under eye area.
And holy hell guys, I actually love this PS Love Concealer!!! It has an amazing pigmentation and covers my dark circles really well! As you can see in the picture below, my dark circles are terrible – I look as if I’m about to die. But with this (with or without foundation) I look so much more awake and alive. Set with powder it’s a beauty. Click on the picture to enlarge
I’ve noticed with the darker one that a little goes a long way, but I actually apply quite a lot of the Ivory shade on my under eye area to get a full coverage. By the way, the longer doe foot applicator is great! At the moment I love the PS Love concealer more than my Rimmel London Wake Me Up concealer – which I haven’t tried many concealers in my lifetime, but I’ve been going back and forth to the Rimmel one for years. I reckon it’s better than the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer as well, as the ‘Light’ UK shade for it is actually not bright enough. However I still haven’t decided if it’s just as good as the L.A. Girl Pro Concealer or even better.
Another reason why I love the Primark / PS Love Concealer is that it lasts throughout the day. Because I work long shifts, 4 days a week I apply makeup at 6 in the morning and take it off at 9-10 at night. I am aware that a normal human being probably doesn’t wear makeup for 16 hours a day, but I do and I am so glad that this lasts well throughout the day!
This retails for only £1.50 so I’d say if you are ever in a Primark store and are on the hunt for a new concealer, try this one. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
And that is all for my Primark/PS LoveConcealer review. I really hope that you found this helpful!
Also, I’d love to know if you have tried out any products from Primark’s beauty/makeup range, these days I always seem to be getting a few P.S. Love… items whenever I go shopping there!
Thank you for stopping by!
