Hello beauties! 🙂 Today I have an edgy and quite sultry purple & forest green makeup look – I love how this came out, hope you like it as well 😀 ♡
If you’d like to see how I achieved this look, then you can watch the YouTube video or keep on reading this post for step by step details 🙂
So… for this look I used my Makeup Revolution Colour Chaos and Physicians Formula Nude Eyes palettes.
I didn’t apply any transition color (I sometimes forget to do that, hahaha)… I just went ahead and popped some color in my crease: a mix of “on a mission” and “deliver me” from the Colour Chaos palette. I blended them right in my crease and only a little bit towards the browbone – taking these green eyeshadows too high up might not turn out as good! I also smudged them on my bottom lash line.
Then I took one of my favorite shades from the palette, “ammunition”, which is an absolutely beautiful shimmery and dark purpley – mauve color, and I applied packed that on my lid and a little bit into the crease, on top of the forest greens I already had there.
Using a clean fluffy brush I blended the two (well, three) colors together. To make my life a little bit easier and also to add more dark&sultryness to the look I took a little bit of black eyeshadows from the Nude Eyes palette on to a pencil brush and I popped that in the outer V. Then went back to the fluffy brush and made sure everything was nicely blended.
Using Ammunition again, but this time on an angled brush, I pretty much went ahead and lined my lower lash line. It wasn’t that visible unless someone would be all up in my face, so if you recreate this look maybe you’ll want to smudge a little bit of it into the green aswell.
In order to highlight and bring the look together I used the white eyeshadow from the Nude Eyes palette. Normally I wouldn’t use so many shimmery eyeshadows, but I think in the end the makeup looked on poiiiint :).
Now let’s move on to the steps I always take… black eyeliner in tight&waterline, liquid eyeliner on my lid and a wing :). I applied one coat of mascara and then a pair of lashes… I think these are starting to become my favorite pair, they’re so long and full and… well, as their name says, sultry :D.
To finish off everything I applied a peachy lipstick and a nude lipgloss on top. I think this makeup would have looked amazing with some “grayige” (gray+beige?) lips, or with something similiar to Limecrime’s Cashmere.
And that’s it for the makeup! 🙂 I’ve had this color combination in my head for a while but I didn’t know if it would look good… glad I decided to give it a try!! Would you wear this? Looking forwards to hearing your feedback 🙂
